After studying the drawings,I like to build this machine,it has many technical challanges and not all the parts are translated to scale,and I like to build it scale true like the real one.And there is also room in the drawings to improve and modify technical aspects to what you wish,also the electrics and hydraulics are not drawn in the plan.So I started the build.... .All the milling and turning is done on conventional machines (no cnc) .06 Februari 2013:Start of the build of the under -carriage

The construction of the track frames

The rough material for the roller bearing blocks milled to the desired shape,I also make them different as is been suggested on the drawings.

Left: milling the round form to the top.Right: cutting the strips into pieces with a saw blade.

Left: the first track frame has its roller bearing blocks mounted.Right : and the second one is ready also,now they look more like the real one.

Left: here you can see the details of the real one.Right:now the milling on the bottem side is ready,I put a screw in the frame tips to make the two plates of aluminium become as one,when all the work is ready,they are also going to be glued together .11 februari 2013:

Left : routed out the inside of the legs of the frame with a T-bit.Right you the bottem side routed out to make place for the electro motors and gearboxes,also made holes with thread in it,on the corners,so later on the sides can be made higher and attached to those points.

Left you see the main frame milled out to make place for the swing bearing.Right you see it ready,and also the holes are drilled,to bolt the swing bearing to the frame later on.

Left you see the fabrication of the steps from aluminium plate,they where also not on the drawing,but on the real machine they are there.Right you see them bolted on the frame.
