Above you can see that on the front of the fender is also a rod put in place to hold it in place.

On the left you can see that I made a wooden template in the model of how the rear fenders are going to be.I cut some aluminium plate with slip-proof profile on it to the right size.On the right you can see that I clamped the plate to the template, and with a plastic hammer I form the sides of the fender.

On the left you can see the finished fenders.

On the left you can see that I made some rods of brass, on which the fenders are going to be bolted on in the middle of them to the sub-frame.The rods are going to be soldered on the sub-frame.25 March 2017:

On the left you can see the brackets which are going to support the hydraulic oil tank with pump.on the right you can see the tank from the front side.

On the left you can see the backside of the tank, where the hydraulic pump is placed.On the right you can see the tank on the brackets, just loose fitted.

On the left you can see the first steps of constructing the air tank, wich are placed on the righthand side below the cab.I took some aluminium tube, and made some ends to fit to them.On the right you can see that the ends are " glued " in place with loctite,and after curing, they can be finished.

On the right you can see the finished tanks,the hole on the side is to connect some pipework to them.

On the left you can see a side view from the tanks and brackets that hold them.I enlarged the drawing to the desired size,so I can use it for constructing the parts.On the right you can see that I cut the drawing in pieces, and made the first parts of the brackets.

On the left you can see the strips that hold the tanks in place made from stainless steel, first I bend them around a piece of waste tube from the same size as the tanks, and then I drilled the holes in them.On the left you can see that the strips are now polished to a shining chrome look.

Above you can see the assembly placed on the truck, the steps to enter the cabine are made later on, when the other side of the truck is that far also, so I can make the four steps in one go.26 May 2017:

On the left you can see the placing of the battery,and on the right the doors are closed.The black part in the middle is going to be covered by a small side part of dummy tanks.

I decided to work on the frame behind the cabine, where in real life extra fuel tanks and air tanks are mounted on,also you see in real life some storage room made on the frame.I make a combination on bove, so I can hide away the battery that powers the model, but try to make it as real as possible.On the left you can see the outer frame made from brass.On the right you can see that I made some doors on the sides of the frame,and some doors on the back.

Above you can see the side doors closed and open,they keep in closed position by a little magnet.This way it is easy to get to the battery, and switches that are going to be placed inside also.

Exhausts are put in place, these are bought from Wedico modell truck parts.Also near the doors on the cabine is a handle placed.

On the left you can see that I made a bracket to hold one of the hydraulic valves.On the right you can see that I made a cover on it, with steps and checker plate on top of it.
